Borealis Blume (BB) was born June 1, 2005. He is a bright chestnut with four stockings and large blaze. He is by BF Oliver Twist a Class A Welsh pony out of EM Dorfblume. He has the appearance of a shrunken Hanoverian in both conformation and gaits but stands a mere 14.2h.

BB carries with him the best Hanoverian dressage lines via his dam EM Dorfblume. His great grandsire Donnerhall is generally considered one of the best sires of dressage horses in history. Also in his pedigree is Matcho AA, one of the best refining stallions owned by the Celle State Stud in Germany.
BB's sire is the very typey Welsh pony BF Oliver Twist. See below for more information on BF Oliver Twist. BB will be registered with the American Sport Pony Registry (ASPR). He definately has what it takes to excel in the FEI dressage pony division. The combination of his dams superior Hanoverian lineage and the small sporty stature of his sire is unlike any other breeding available in the United States.
2011 News BB continued his success in the show ring competing at First Level. He consistntly scored in the mid-high 60's and garned a few High Point Awards throughout the year. Unfortunately due to my trip to Germany in October we were unable to compete at Regionals that were held during those dates. Therefore, we did not compete as heavily in 2011. We are looking forward to 2nd level in 2012! 2010 News BB had a super successful show season on 2010. He was shown training level and scored consistently between 68%-72+% and every show. He was also awards NC High Score Pony at the Region 1 Championship Show! We look forward to competing at First level in 2011. 2009 News BB is doing great with rider Lauraine Rivier under trainer Lynn Leath. He has beautiful natural carriage, three nice ground covering gaits, and has begun lateral work. Look for him in 2010 in the dressage ring. A tradition has been started to give BB a unique clip each winter. This years theme, in honor of Apple founder Steve Jobs, we decided to make BB an iPony!

Pictured is BB's sire BF Oliver Twist. He is a Class A Welsh pony that scored an incredible 7.9 at his ASPR inspection giving him the designation Premium stallion. Even though he stands a mere 12h he has the conformation and gaits of a full size horse. In addition, he has great athleticism allowing him beautiful form over fences.
